Royal Enfield records 2 per cent growth in August 2018

Royal Enfield has announced a 2 per cent growth in sales for August 2018. The manufacturer sold 68,014 motorcycles in India last month as against the 66,872 units in the same period last year. Meanwhile, exports saw a significant 23 per cent increase with 1,363 units sold overseas. Royal Enfield had exported 1,105 motorcycles in August 2017. The manufacturer accredits most of its domestic growth to the Classic 350 and Bullet 350.
